Personal Injury Lawyer Eric Ratinoff

Eric Ratinoff is a personal injury and insurance attorney based out of Sacramento, California, and one of the founding partners at Kershaw, Cutter & Ratinoff, a firm of highly experienced civil justice attorneys. Eric has represented injured people across the nation since 1993.

By combining his love of representing people with his love for cooking fresh local food, Eric seeks to relate to people on a very common level. “I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like talking about food,” Eric says. “It’s a great starting point in getting to know somebody.”

Since writing as “The Law Chef,” Eric has discovered many avenues where food and his practice intersect, especially when it comes to representing brain injured clients. Study after study confirms the important role nutrition plays in brain injury rehabilitation, and Eric has been pleased to find that this blog can also serve as a healing resource for people suffering from traumatic brain injuries.

Eric recently launched a new website that explores the rich abundance in California’s wine and food producers, titled California Farm to Table. The site’s mission is to help people and communities thrive through growing, cooking, eating and drinking local, fresh food, and celebrating California’s bounty.

Eric is also a champion for foster children who are struggling to become part of a permanent family. He is the former President of Sierra Forever Families (www.sierraff.org), which transforms the lives of children and youth in foster care by building and nurturing permanent families.
